Injuries are the fifth killer in Hong Kong
In 2018, 1,871 registered deaths were related to injuries. This accounted for 3.9% of total registered deaths of that year and was the fifth leading cause of death in 2018. The death rates for males and females were 34.0 and 17.4 per 100,000 population of respective sex.
