The Department of Health organised “Uncover Alcohol Harms” health talk

The Department of Health was invited by the Faculty of Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) to organised a “Uncover Alcohol Harms” health talk at the “Your Digestion Our Attention” Health Exhibition on the 16th and 22nd of October 2016 at Discovery Park, Tsuen Wan and Sunshine City, Lam Tin respectively. The talk iillustrated the effects of alcohol on the digestive system to public members, so as to enhance their knowledge on acute and chronic harms of alcohol. The Health Exhibition aimed to raise public awareness on digestive health. During the Exhibition, medical students of the CUHK provided colorectal cancer risk assessment to the public, as well as hepatitis B testing and experience of laparoscopic simulators.
