Based on Department of Health's Child Health Survey 2005-2006, 15.7% of local children aged 2-14 usually drank ≥2 cups of milk a day in the 7 days before enumeration. The corresponding figures for children aged 2-5, 6-10 and 11-14 were 35.8%, 10.5% and 9.4% respectively.
Base : 6 845 community-dwelling children aged 2-14.

Proportion of children aged 2-14 usually eating the specific amount of meat (more than 1 tael for children aged 2-5, more than 2 taels for children aged 6-10 and those aged 11-14) per meal in the 7 days preceding enumeration, 2005-2006

Based on Department of Health's Child Health Survey 2005-2006, 59.0% of local children aged 2-14 usually ate the specific amount of meat ( ≥1 tael for aged 2-5, ≥2 taels for aged 6-10 and aged 11-14) per meal in the 7 days before enumeration.
Base : 6 845 community-dwelling children aged 2-14.

Proportion of adolescents aged 15-17 consuming milk or milk products 2 or more times on average a day, 2003-2004

Based on Department of Health's Population Health Survey 2003-2004, 1.5% of local adolescents aged 15-17 consumed milk or milk products ≥2 times on average a day. The corresponding figures for males and females were 0.3% and 2.6% respectively.
Base : 478 community-dwelling adolescents aged 15-17.
