Location where injuries occurred

According to the Unintentional Injury Survey 2018, more than one-fourth (27.7%) of the injury episodes took place at home. It was followed by transport area: public highway, street or road (23.1%) and commercial area (10.2%).

Among all injuries, 27.7% occurred at home; 23.1% occurred in transport area (road); 10.2% occurred in commercial area; 9.4% occurred in recreational area; 8.9% occurred in sports area; 7.0% occurred in industrial or construction area; 4.6% occurred in transport area (others); 4.3% occurred in school; 2.7% occurred in countryside and 2.1% occurred in other locations.
