“Lazy Lion Hunt” AR Prize Game

“Lazy Lion Hunt” AR prize game was organised during the Challenge month (November 2023) to encourage the public to walk more, achieve target of 10,000 steps a day as well as enhance the enjoyment of the Walking Challenge 2023. Nine checkpoints were set at three designated routes. Participants could collect stamps at the checkpoints to redeem Lazy Lion gift.

• Three designated routes were:
1. Arts and Cultural Route
   Central Market > Pottinger Street > Tai Kwun > PMQ > Tai Ping Shan Street > Artlane (Ki Ling Lane Children's Playground)
2. Theater Fans Route
   Mong Kok Pedestrian Footbridge > Yau Ma Tei Theatre (Man Ming Lane Rest Garden) > Yau Ma Tei Police Station > Temple Street Night Market > Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade
3. Waterfront Route
   West Point Waterfront (Belcher Bay Promenade) > Tamar Park > Golden Bauhinia Square (Wan Chai Temporary Promenade) > East Coast Park Precinct (Phase 1)
• Three big Lazy Lion physical AR stickers were set along each route. Participates were required to scan the QR code upon finding of the big Lazy Lion AR sticker and registered on the game website by email.
• Upon registration, participants could log in the “Lazy Lion hunt” game webpage and start the hunting game.
• After choosing the corresponding route the participant located, clicking and opening the camera of the webpage, and scanning the Lazy Lion AR sticker, a Lazy Lion filter would appear and a stamp was collected automatically. Participants could even take photos with Lazy Lion by pressing the camera button.
• There were three stamps in each designated route. Participants who collected the total of nine stamps could redeem a special Lazy Lion gift.
