10,000 Steps Lazy Lion Go Go Go
- In October and November 2023, the Department of Health organised a series of “10,000 steps Lazy Lion Go Go Go” flash pop-up events. These events took place at Kwun Tong Garden Estate, Tamar Park, Belcher Bay Promenade, Sha Tin Town Hall Plaza, and Kwun Tong Promenade respectively on five consecutive Saturdays. These events aim to motivate Walking Challenge participants, and encourage family members and friends to walk in parks or promenades during the weekends, as well as integrate walking into their daily life to improve physical and mental health while enhancing family cohesion. These meet-up events have garnered interest from the public, attracting citizens to take photos with Lazy Lion and enhancing commitment to achieving the goal of "10,000 steps a day".
